Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using Cykle (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App and uninstall it from your device.
Use of the app
Cykle is intended for personal, non-commercial use, to help you log and understand your own menstrual cycle. There is no minimum age requirement to use the App, though users should have the legal capacity in their jurisdiction to agree to these Terms.
Not medical advice
Cykle is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Cycle phases, predictions, and insights are estimates generated from the data you log, and their accuracy depends on how consistently you log. They should not be relied on as a sole method of contraception, fertility planning, or diagnosing any medical condition. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider about your reproductive health, symptoms, or any medical concern.
Subscriptions and purchases
Cykle offers optional Cykle Pro access as a monthly or annual subscription, managed through RevenueCat. Current pricing and any trial terms are displayed within the App before purchase.
All payments are processed through Apple's payment system (App Store). Refunds are handled under Apple's own refund policies; Cykle does not process refunds directly.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cykle is not liable for:
- Errors, downtime, or interruptions in the App's functionality.
- The accuracy of cycle predictions, phase estimates, or symptom insights, which are generated from your own logged data and cannot account for medical conditions or factors outside that data.
- Data loss resulting from device failure, deletion of the App, or failure to back up your device — logs are stored locally and, unless you enable Apple Health sync, are not recoverable from our servers, since we do not operate one.
- Failures or data-handling practices of third-party services the App relies on, namely Apple, RevenueCat, and Firebase.
Intellectual property
All content within the App — including trademarks, logos, design, and software — is the property of Yevhen Basistyi and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. Unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited. You retain all rights to the data you log within Cykle.
Dispute resolution
Disputes arising from your use of the App will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation and, where unresolved, through arbitration in accordance with applicable law. Nothing in this section limits your right to bring a claim in local courts where applicable law guarantees that right.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is significant, we'll notify you within the App. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
