Why Smoki

Built for the whole quit, not just day one.

Motivation fades. Smoki is built to outlast it — with numbers that matter, rewards that keep coming, and a system that treats a slip as data, not defeat.

Day streak & health timeline

Every smoke-free second becomes a live streak, mapped to a real recovery timeline — from blood pressure normalizing at 20 minutes to lung cancer risk halving at 10 years.

Money saved & life regained

See exactly what quitting is worth — running totals for money saved and life regained, calculated from your own habits, not a generic average.

Slip tracking, not shame

One cigarette isn't a reset button. Smoki logs a slip honestly, applies a fair recovery-window penalty, and keeps the rest of your real history intact.

Widgets & Lock Screen

Your streak, savings, and lungs status — right on the Home Screen, Lock Screen, and in Live Activities. No need to open the app to feel the progress.

Under the hood

Three minutes to set up. A lifetime to benefit.

Onboarding takes less time than a cigarette break — then Smoki keeps counting whether you open the app or not.

1

Tell us your habits

Cigarettes per day, pack size, and price — the numbers Smoki uses to calculate your real savings, not a generic estimate.

2

Set your quit moment

Starting fresh today, or already smoke-free for a while? Back-date your quit moment and Smoki counts every minute you've already earned.

3

Watch it add up

Every second counts toward your streak, your savings, and the next reward — from a First Victory at 20 minutes to a Decade Defier at 10 years.

Every minute not smoking is a win.

Free to start. Cancel anytime.

About Smoki

Two crossed cigarettes. That's the whole promise.

The icon says it plainly: no more. Smoki exists to make every smoke-free second visible, worth something, and worth defending — without turning a slip into a reason to give up trying.

The problem

Quit trackers love streaks and hate honesty

Most quit-smoking apps treat one cigarette as total failure — the streak resets to zero, the shame kicks in, and people delete the app rather than face that number again. That's not tracking. That's punishment dressed up as data, and it makes the next attempt harder, not easier.

The approach

A recovery window, not a reset button

Smoki treats a slip the way a body actually recovers from nicotine — a defined penalty proportional to what you smoked, not a wipe back to zero. Log it, see the real cost in days, and keep going from where you actually are. Multiple slips inside the same 72-hour recovery window don't pile up — your body is already in one recovery cycle, and the record reflects that.

The team

Small, independent, and still shipping

Smoki is built by a small independent developer who designed the slip system, the health timeline, and every reward tier around one question: what would actually help someone quit, rather than what looks good on a screenshot.

What we optimize for

Four things we won't compromise on.

Honesty

Your real history, kept intact

Slips are recorded, not hidden — and never erase the progress you made before them.

Compassion

Data, not shame

A slip gets a fair penalty and a clear explanation, never a guilt trip.

Science

A timeline grounded in research

Every health milestone reflects documented cessation research, not marketing copy.

Privacy

Your streak is yours

No ads, no analytics SDKs, no data broker. Your history stays on your device.

How can we help?

Answers to what we hear most. Can't find it here — email us directly.

How does the slip penalty work?
Logging a slip doesn't reset your streak to zero. Smoki applies a penalty in days proportional to how many cigarettes you logged, reflecting how long nicotine actually takes to clear your system — roughly 5 days for a single cigarette. If you log another slip within the same 72-hour recovery window, no additional penalty is added; your body is still clearing the first one, and the record stays honest without piling on.
Can I count time I've already stayed smoke-free?
Yes. During onboarding, choose "I've already started" and enter when you quit — Smoki backdates your streak, savings, and rewards to that moment instead of starting the clock from zero.
What do the reward tiers mean?
Smoki has 22 milestones across five tiers — Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond — starting at 20 minutes smoke-free (First Victory) and running all the way to 10 years (Decade Defier). Each one is tied to a real, documented recovery milestone, not an arbitrary number.
Is Smoki free?
Core tracking is free. Premium unlocks the full experience for $1.99/month, $9.99/year, or a one-time $24.99 lifetime purchase — you'll see exact pricing and any trial terms in the app before you're asked to pay.
What do the widgets show?
Smoki adds Home Screen widgets, a Lock Screen widget, and Live Activities showing your day streak and money saved — updated automatically, no need to open the app to check in.
Where does my data live?
On your device. Smoki doesn't run ads or analytics SDKs — the only third-party service involved is RevenueCat, which manages subscription purchases through Apple's App Store.
